How To Add Read More To Feedburner Blog Posts Feed

Feeds are a way for blogs to distribute their content well beyond just visitors using browsers. Feeds permit subscription to regular updates, delivered automatically via a web portal, news reader, or in some cases good old email. If you have a website, blog, audio/video content, or even photos, you can offer a feed of your content as an option.
If you are using a popular blogging platform or publishing tool like TypePad, Wordpress, or Blogger, you likely publish a feed auto
matically. You can manage your blog feeds, using the free services been provided by Feedburner. FeedBurner's services allow publishers who already have a feed to improve their understanding of and relationship with their audience.

By default, subscribers to your blog's feed will likely be able to read the full content of your blog posts without visiting your blog. Well, if not satisfied with this, you can offer a short summary of your hyperlink-free content and direct your subscribers to your Web site for the rest of the story.

If you've burned your post feed with FeedBurner, there is a 'summary' setting which, if enabled, may affect the display of your feed for the Until Jump Break option. To activate it, sign in to feedburner, go to the "Optimize" tab, click "Summary Burner" and activate the service.

Select "Until Jump Break" to show all post content before your jump break. The "None" option turns your site feed off entirely. For more advanced options, you can select "Custom."
